When facing the Zombot Sharktronic Sub, if the player uses Tangle Kelp at the last second when the Zombot's using its suction attack, it will freeze in place instead of moving away. Its health will not exceed the following phase, making the fight impossible and forcing the player to retry the level to beat it.
Sometimes, when you finish a level (killed all zombies in the last wave), the game simply does not give you a reward, and the stage cannot be completed. You still receive sun, and you can still plant, but no zombies come since the stage technically ended. The level can go a long while before the reward finally comes. Consider yourself softlocked if this glitch happens in an Endless Zone.
If a Jetpack Zombie is blown away by Blover at the same time that it is hypnotized by Caulipower, it will simply freeze in mid air and then remain stuck there until the end of the battle. If a zombie that can change lanes via Pianist Zombie gets knocked back by Primal Peashooter on the same frame it changes lanes, it will be in-between lanes, in a similar fashion to if it gets frozen by Iceberg Lettuce's Plant Food or stunned by Stunion's Plant Food while in the middle of changing lanes from a Garlic, Hot Date, or Sweet Potato, only it lasts until the zombie changes lanes again.
