Word Excel Download For Mac: Work Online or Offline, on Your Own or with Others



As an NC State student, faculty or staff member, you can download and install a free copy of the full MS Office suite (includes Word, Excel and PowerPoint), and you also have access to the cloud versions of these products (Office 365).


Click here to download the Company Portal for Windows. This application can be used to download and install software like eduroam wireless, Microsoft Office, and Matlab onto your Windows laptop or desktop.

Important: Faculty and staff with SCU-managed computers should already have Microsoft Office products installed. To avoid conflicts with locally-installed software, faculty and staff should not should not download and install Office software from Microsoft 365 on their SCU-managed computer.

The license associated with the software that you may have downloaded and installed is only valid for as long as you are a member of the SCU community. Once you leave SCU, the software license will no longer be active.


Microsoft 365 is available to all current students, faculty and staff at Binghamton University. This software is free of charge and is available for download on personal computers and devices. Microsoft Office 365 is not available to Binghamton University volunteers (basic), non-emertitus retirees, applicants, or alumni.


Students who are registered for classes for the current semester and currently employed faculty and staff are provided with a Microsoft 365 license that allows logins to office.com to download and install a copy of Microsoft Office on a personal computer....read more.


Personal Device Access: Log in to email.emory.edu to use the online versions of the software. Students can also download and install the software on up to 5 devices, using these instructions.


Office 365 ProPlus is a downloadable version of Office available through Office 365 for Education. Faculty , staff, and students are eligible to receive Office 365 ProPlus for installation on their home computer and personal mobile devices. This installation is licensed for home use only. It is not intended for use on DePaul owned devices. To obtain Office for your DePaul owned devices, please visit Software for DePaul Owned Computers.


If you are not eligible for the M365 download, or if your operating system is not supported, you might qualify to use the online version that has the same core applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).


The University of Houston provides Microsoft Office free to every student, faculty and staff member. Faculty and staff can download Microsoft 365 only for their personal computers, Apple, Android and Microsoft mobile devices. For University owned computers, please consult with your local IT support for your software needs. Users will be able to download Office on up to five computers and five mobile devices. Microsoft 365 includes the latest version of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and more. (Note: Installing additional languages on a computer that already has this version of Office does not count against your install limit.)

Office 365 is available to you through your Southern New Hampshire University email address. Office 365 includes the web versions of Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, and OneDrive) including the ability to download and use desktop versions.


Office 365 ProPlus is a full version of Office Professional that is available for Windows and Mac that can be download through the Office 365 Portal. Included applications are Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Access, Publisher, Outlook, Skype For Business, and OneDrive for business (Skype for Business is not supported by ITS at this time). Each Mines student and employee will be allowed up to five installations for their personal devices only.


In order to support collaboration with Cornell students and colleagues at other institutions, Cornell employees may obtain G Suite for Education accounts. This service provides access to Google Docs, which can upload, read, and edit files created in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Files can also be downloaded in Microsoft-compatible formats.


You can also download and install Microsoft Word from the Office.com website. After purchasing a Microsoft 365 subscription, you need to log into the website with your Microsoft username and password. From there: 2ff7e9595c
